pdisk is to linux what fdisk is to windows.... it reports and/or configures partitions on the harddrives.

you need bash access to your TiVo.

download pdisk from sourceforge.com:
(I don't know who to give credit for this page, sorry!)

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/tivo ... z?download

transfer to the tivo: /var/hack/bin or /var/ if /hack/bin dosen't exist

cd /var/hack/bin -or- /var/
gzip -d pdisk-s1.gz

then execute the code from bash to display the partition layout:

cd /var/hack/bin -or- /var/
./pdisk -l /dev/hda /dev/hdb
